For blood glucose and blood lipid tests, you need to fast for 8 to 10 hours before the test.

Ensure you are emotionally and psychologically relaxed, avoiding anxiety and stress before a blood test.
Avoid strenuous activity immediately before the sample collection time.
For cortisol testing, samples must be collected at the time specified by the doctor (8am–10am or 12pm–8pm).
For women, blood and urine samples should be avoided during menstruation.
